Weddings are special - hands down - no matter what! What I have discovered by taking photos at a wedding is that I am given this extreme privilege of going behind-the-scenes and actually experiencing those special moments first hand. The stories I hear bring me close to tears at time. I almost have to pinch myself to keep from turning into a sappy girl that just wants to sit and watch the magic happen. After all, I have a job to do! These were some of the sweetest people I've ever met. And the setting was straight out of a fairy tale! When you're given a mansion in the mountains to take photos at, you make the most of it! Pretty dreamy, huh? The way she looks at him says it ALL! They waited a long time for this kiss! From the mansion to the mountainside, it was breathtaking. The evening setting was amazing! Congratulations you 2 lovebirds!

I have been taking photos for this incredible family for years now. So when one of the siblings got engaged, I was “given” as a gift. During the engagement session, I was asked to consider taking their wedding photos. While it was not something I had ever planned on doing, I was beyond honored and happily accepted. K&K — MANY MANY Blessings on your marriage. Y’all know how much I love you. You guys are my fam! The First Look
The time has come. Me+3 Photography has brought me more excitement, professional fulfillment, and personal growth than I ever imagined. I have been honored to capture so many memories for so many dear friends, not to mention make a bunch of new ones. How? That is a question I get a lot. How did you get "into this"? Well, I have always been "that" friend with their camera around their neck, snapping pictures at every occasion, and making detailed scrapbooks to document it all. So when I was asked to take pictures of a dear friend before she had her baby, I wondered, "hmm...why am I not DOING this!?" and it's been go go go ever since. 3? What the heck is the PLUS 3 about? Well....this is my plus 3! Since starting my photography business, we have added 1 more. But for now, we still professionally remain +3. It's a wonderful nod to where I was in my life when this whole adventure started.
In an effort to continue growing, it was time to build this website and blog. Come on in, stay a while, enjoy browsing through some of my most favorite moments from the past several years. And the next time you start thinking that it's time for some new photos, I would LOVE to be there with you. |
